These wines have been produced for us by the de Malet Roquefort family, owners of the "1st Growth" Château La Gaffelière in St Emilion for 400 years. Both the red and the white are of excellent quality and priced for everyday drinking.
Red Wines
- Léo La Gaffelière 2016: This is a youthful and elegant St Emilion wine produced in honour of Count Léo de Malet Roquefort by his son Alexandre - £12.75 / £153.00*
- La Fleur d'Armens 2016: This is the second wine of the eminent and respected Château d'Armens. As with all well made second wines, the character of Grand Vin is clearly present in La Fleur but at a fraction of the price. Its is more complex than the Léo, the result of grapes from older vines (aveage age 35 years) and a greater use of oak - £16.95 / £203.40*
